Tyren Perry (Joy Perkins)

An Illinois native, Tyren Perry moved to California with her family at the age of eleven with dreams of singing and acting. She would soon find herself singing on “The Real Ghostbusters” cartoon soundtrack which caught the attention of music producers, leading to a recording contract with Columbia Records and a solo album titled, “Don’t Rush It.” At the same time, she would become a seasoned child actress in such TV sitcom favorites as “Diff’rent Strokes,” “Bustin’ Loose,” and “Family Matters.” Years later, Tyren would team up with her sisters on Twism/Interscope Records in a group called S.H.E. releasing their aptly titled debut, “3’s A Charm.” To this day, music and acting are a big part of Tyren’s life, and she remains active on various film and musical projects.

Beau Brians (Chris Eagle)

Beau Brians was most recently seen as the Frankie Valli alternate in Jersey Boys at the Phoenix Theatre Company! Stage: Bonnie & Clyde (Clyde Barrow/Candlelight Pavillion), She Loves Me (Arpad/Actors Co-Op), Smoke on the Mountain (Dennis/Lambs Players Theatre), ClaudioQuest (Claudio/Chance Theatre), Les Misérables (Ensemble/Diamond Head Theatre) and Pirates of Penzance (Frederic/Kaiser Black Box). Film/TV: Timeless (NBC), Journey to Royal, Speak Now, Zero Tolerance. Beau also produces his own films - some of which (Art Camp, Mr Cool) have premiered in festivals. Ben Palacios (Lance Bowman)

Ben is thrilled to join Accidental Joy!  Recent credits include Mutt House at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, Prince Hans in Disney's FROZEN Live, and Christian Grey in the national tour of Spank Harder!, 50 Shades parody. Regional theatre includes Sex With Strangers (Ethan) and Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike (Spike). Ben's feature film Silicon Beach made its LA debut at Dances With Films 2018 and his pilot Surfer's Paradise is currently playing in the Amazon All Voices film festival on Amazon Prime. Fun fact: Ben is Enrique Iglesias' hand double. Lauren Richards (Niev Lapel)

Lauren Richards has traveled the world working as an artist and creative developer.  Her powerhouse vocals and passion for creating new and interesting shows has taken her from Australia to the Caribbean to Europe. Now based in Los Angeles, Lauren is extremely proud and excited to make her debut on the Hollywood stage with the Accidental Joy team!

Johnathan Shartzer (Ned Perkins)

John's recent theater credits include: Max in Lend Me A Tenor and Paul the Human in the workshop of Darling Grenadine, at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. This last year, John was Ryan in season three of Hulu's Casual, Frankie in Subway's Italian hero campaign, Andrew in the feature film, The Book Club, with Candice Bergen, and he made his network debut in the pilot episode of Ghosted, on Fox. He’s back, this year, for an appearance on Brooklyn 99.


NomiBQween (Mother/Fate)

Nomi B. is no stranger to the theatre world. Before becoming a full time drag queen in Southern Califonia, Nomi was an aspiring actor auditioning for every role she could. However, when she put those heels and wig on for the first time, there was no turning back! Nomi is thrilled to be in her first stage production since 2015 and hopes this is the start of a new direction for her drag career. Some of her favorite past roles include: Billy Porter (Anything Goes), Jesus (Godspell), and Georg (Spring Awakening) to name a few. Lots of love and thanks to anyone and everyone who has supported Nomi from day 1. 

Misty West (Darinda)

Misty West got her B.F.A. in Dance Performance at Arizona State University. She has since worked as a freelance lighting designer, choreographer, stage manager and other various roles around the Phoenix Valley, while also performing in various plays and musicals. She recently moved to Los Angeles, and is very excited to be a part of Accidental Joy

Amy Melendrez (Evangeline)

Born and raised in L.A., Amy is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California and is so excited to be joining ACCIDENTAL JOY! While pursuing her B.A. in Theatre, she also attended the British American Drama Academy. She has appeared in various collegiate productions including Heathers, Mr. Burns: A Post Electric Play, Time and the Conways, The Penelopiad, and the staged reading of Hipster Sweatshop.

Nicholas Bruno (Caleb)

Rebecca Angel (Boss Lady/Ensemble)

Rebecca Angel is excited/thrilled/bouncing-off-the-walls to return to the stage after a seven year absence wherein she became a teacher and mother. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona where she was classically trained in both theatre and voice. She thanks her darling husband, Ofri, for supporting her and their family as she shakes the dust off and prepares to fly again

Alex Boling (Samuel)

Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Alex has a BA in Psychology from Yale University and a Masters in Music from Louisiana State University. He has had recurring guest star roles on SUBURGATORY, SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER, LAS VEGAS and WILL & GRACE, as well as guest stars and co-stars on every genre of episodic television. His first film job was a movie musical called ISLE OF LESBOS, which achieved cult status in Japan. In 2017 he appeared in YEAR OF SPECTACULAR MEN, directed by Lea Thompson, and BRIGHT, directed by David Ayer (TRAINING DAY, FURY, SUICIDE SQUAD). He has also appeared in many National Commercials and in Musical Theater & Cabaret across the US & Norway. He has produced an award-winning full-length feature called STRANGE FRUIT and a short called WINGTIPS. He has also written and directed several non-profit PSA videos.

Jules Sanchez (Jon)

Jules began his theatre career playing the role of "Lamar" in the San Francisco Bay Area Critics Choice Award winning production of Godspell at Center Rep Theater Co. Jules would go on to co-star with Broadway, TV and Film Veteran, Clifton Davis, in "Tell Hell I Ain’t Coming”at the World Famous Chicago Theatre. Jules landed the role of "Big Will" in the Hip Hop Gospel play "UNCLE WILLIE’S FAMILY” performing alongside hip hop mogul and Dancing with the Stars’ Master P and Romeo. Jules recently performed in the staged reading of "Church, a Spirited Revival," produced by and starring Emmy award winning Leslie Jordan (Will and Grace), and Sally Struthers (All in the Family).

Jessica Lynn Kincaid (Gale)

Jessica Lynn Kincaid is playing the role of Gale. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in musical theatre from the University of Northern Colorado. Jessica is so excited to join the cast of Accidental Joy in her first show in Los Angeles. She would like to thank all of her family and friends for their constant support and hopes you enjoy the show! 

Conor Sheehan (Nate)

Conor Sheehan is overjoyed (in a non-accidental way) to be reprising the role of Nate with his ragtag swarm of followers at the historic Montalbán Theatre! And as a character who's spirit animal is an owl? WHO knew? Favorite past credits include: Doug in Gruesome Playground Injuries (Crash Acting Studios), Max and others in Cabaret (Plan B Entertainment), and Pepper in Mamma Mia! (Merely Players). He would like to thank his fam fam, Stout fam, roomie fam, and follower fam. But most of all, YOU. Enjoy leaping for the light!

McKenzie Franklin (Young Joy)

McKenzie is a film, television and stage actress from Chicago, IL with a smile that lights up the room! Her parents agreed to relocate to Los Angeles in 2017 after a successful audition landed McKenzie a spot in the freshman class of her dream high-school, which happened to be California's top performing arts conservatory where she is now a rising sophomore in the theater department. This exuberant actress has received critical acclaim for her role in HBO's "The Big Chop" starring Simone Missick, which garnered her Best Actress at the Diversity in Cannes Women in Formation Short Film Showcase in 2018. In addition, McKenzie snagged a Best Performance Nomination at the 39th Annual Young Artist Awards and will be making her Netflix debut in the upcoming Michael Bay directed 6 Underground starring Ryan Reynolds. McKenzie is beyond thrilled to join the company of Accidental Joy and thankful for the opportunity to perform in the role of Young Joy.  


Michael Madison Ottinger (Swing)

Michael Madison Ottinger is excited to join the cast of Accidental Joy. Madison is a graduate from Arizona State University with a degree in Musical Theater and a minor in PR/Communications.  She recently moved to LA and is currently working with the big mouse at Disneyland and is pursuing acting in TV/Film as well. Some of her favorite roles were as Anybody's in West Side Story, Dainty June in Gypsy and Kathy in Company. Thanks for supporting theater. Enjoy the show! 

Daniel Medina (Dancer)

Born and raised in Mexico, Daniel attended to Arte Espació Fernanda Guerra studio in Sinaloa, Mexico, where he was trained in classical ballet, contemporary and Spanish folklore. Since then, he has performed in many different shows, such as Loserville: the Musical and the opera, Romeo and Juliet. Daniel is graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts this May, and is extremely excited to be a part of Accidental Joy.

Kate Page (Dancer)

Kate Page is a freelance dance artist currently based in Los Angeles. She graduated with a BA in both dance and theatre from Indiana University and has further studied with international companies such as Luke Murphy: Attic Projects, Biblioteca do Corpo, Vertigo Dance Company, Aya Israeli, Vim Vigor, Ryan Mason, Sagi Gross, and dancers from Peeping Tom. She has performed works by DC Contemporary Dance Theatre, Sara Herrera, Kimmie Dobbs Chan, and Ismael Ivo. Kate is currently pursuing her doctor of physical therapy at USC and is thrilled to be joining the cast of Accidental Joy.
